Latvian Popular Front Museum
The Latvian Popular Front Museum possesses a unique collection of items, documents and other exhibits, which tells about the efforts of the Latvian people to regain independence during the so-called Singing Revolution (1986-1991).
Museum visitors will be able to get acquainted with documents, photographs, videos and other materials which reflect the events taking place at the time. The museum also contains historical accounts about the largest national independence movement – the Latvian Popular Front, without which it is possible that an independent Latvia might not exist today. With a modern design and interactive exhibits, visitors will not only be able to get acquainted with the events of those days, but also feel like they are a part of the emotions of that time.
